A pictorial of Barriere's pride and joy, the NTFF

Wouldn't be the fall fair without the parade. Leading the way, our men in red serge.

Royalty, complete with the "Queen wave" (aka... act like your spreading peanut butter on the wall)

This little piggy went to the Fall Fair!

Outside the Horse Barn...

Inside the Horse Barn...
A team of heavy horses from McBride, lead by a 71 year -old teamster broke a NTFF record this year.
The team weighed 3934 pounds and pulled a skid of salt weighing 8900 pounds for 14 feet, winning 1st place. The pair of horses, aged 17 and 10, pulled 4976 pounds over their weight.

No rodeo's complete without a rodeo clown.
Squirrely Early showed up with his "quarter" horse and kept us all in stitches for three days.

How close can you get to the action?
I took this shot from the rodeo stands.
Notice the hat in the corner?
That's the clown leaping into the crowd to avoid being trampled by a bareback horse who had just thrown his rider. Cowboy up!

Did I call it, or what? Third place won him $1.50 in prize money. The rest of us got little stickers that said, "Thanks for exhibiting".
All photos by J Webb, except "Obsidian Sun" - taken by M(elissa) Webb... must give credit where credit's due.
