Introducing Buster

Location: Barriere, 11°C, Weather - how should I know, it's dark outside... 10:45pm

Daily Goal: To capture Buster on digital film - if he would just sit still long enough.

Trials & Tribulations: Andre Agassiz has done it again... it was nice to see an earned victory rather than a game won on the opponent's error. It was also nice to see wild card James Blake stick around rather than high tale it out of the arena after his loss. Respect is a wonderful thing. I can now peel myself away from TSN and blog...

Vadar (kitty) has moved back in with Becky - we'll see how he fairs couped up in a townhouse after being granted "outside" privileges at our house recently.

No sooner do we get rid of one, we inherit another.

Introducing "Buster", the hamster.
Races through the lawn at lightning speed. (Don't tell Vadar, but Buster earned outside priveleges right away, without making a peep.) Sleeps all day and keeps Jessica awake all night (there is justice in this world). May just become a tasty morsel for Macska who recently has become an excellent mouser (we discover lovely entrail "presents" on the porch daily now). Seems Macska was discovered camped out on top of Buster's cage last night.

Successes: Buster will live in Jessica's room, with the door firmly closed.

Failures:
The bright yellow Buffalo airplane Becky and I saw at the Abbostford Airshow has been spotted circling my house. No, the pilot isn't looking for us... he's searching for a missing home-built plane that is thought to have gone down in the Barriere area over a week ago.

Three Griffon helicopters out of Edmonton, two Buffalloes out of Comox, and four civilian aircraft have failed to turn up anything so far.

Life's rarely dull in my neck o' the woods.
